Girl Scouting -- For Every Girl, Everywhere!
A Brownie leader has the opportunity to see a troop grow and try new things.
Below are some program tips for Brownie Leaders:

Activities --

Training -- The Brownie Age Level Training will teach all you need to know about
running your Brownie Girl Scout Troop.  Make sure you check the
Training Calendar
and schedule your Brownie Age Level Training as soon as possible if you have not
already taken it.

Ask Questions -- Feel free to contact anyone on the Service Unit Team with your
questions.  Most Team Members have led a variety of levels and can help you solve
any problems.  Team Members and other leaders are also a great resource for new
ideas and advice.

Forms, Forms, Forms -- Make sure that you have all appropriate forms for your girls.
A good idea is to keep them all organized in a troop binder that you can keep with you
at meetings and events.  You will need:

Uniforms --  It's up to your troop what your policy on uniforms will be.  Some troops
require full uniforms, while others only require a vest or sash.  Some troops even
make troop t-shirts.  It's helpful for you, as the leader, to know the proper placement
of insignia.  These handouts are helpful for you and the parents in your troop:

First Meetings -- Need some ideas for your first couple of meetings? Don't fret.  Take
a look at this simple 6 meeting plan that will jump start your Brownie Girl Scout year!
