Indian Valley Girl Scouts  Birthday Celebration
Girl Scouts!
Junior Girl Scouts from the Indian Valley area planned an event
to celebrate Girl Scout's 95th Birthday. The event, "95 and Still
Kickin'!" was held at Branch Creek Community Church in
Harleysville on Saturday, March 10th. Each of the Girl Scouts above
planned a game or activity that promoted a healthy mind, body, and
spirit. Girl Scouts who attended were given a passport to good
health, and were able to earn a Brownie try-it or a Junior Badge for
completing fun activities for the cost of no more than $0.25 per
activity.

With the help of fellow Girl Scouts this event provided two hours
of fun including; hand massage, ping pong pyramid, super market
shopping spree, building a pyramid, family feud, lucky wheel, world
hunger resolution center, eating a rainbow, and a healthy snack
bar. In addition, 6 bags of food and a cash donation were delivered
to Manna on Main Street in Lansdale.

In honor of Girl Scout Birthday, the Indian Valley Service Unit
holds this event annually; donating the proceeds to the Juliet Low
World Friendship Fund.
