On Saturday, December 1, 2007, Girl Scouts from the Indian
Valley Service Unit along with many other organizations in the
Souderton area kicked off the holiday season by participating in
the annual Souderton Holiday Parade.
The girls wanted to get the community excited about the
upcoming cookie sale so they whipped up a few batches to share
the with the community. Troops wore their aprons and chef hats
while carrying mixing bowls, spoons, and sugar sifters.
For the first time ever, the Indian Valley Service Unit also had a
float! Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts rode on the float, showing off
this year's cookie selection and "baking" the cookies using their
Easy Bake Ovens!
