Girl Scouting -- For Every Girl, Everywhere!
Junior Girl Scouts further their horizons by taking charge of their troop.  Girls are
empowered with leadership training and more complex experiences.  Junior Girl
Scouts are eligible to earn specific proficiency badges, as well as the Junior Girl
Scout Bronze Award.  Troops usually use the patrol structure and meet with two
leaders on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
As a Junior Girl Scout, you might:

  • Learn how to be a leader
  • Help younger Girl Scouts
  • Travel beyond your local city
  • Learn about career choices
  • Learn how to manage money
  • Make more decisions about how your troop is run
  • Practice solving problems
  • Camp on the beach or under the stars
  • Try a new sport or activity, like horseback riding
  • Improve your home town through community service
  • Strive for your Bronze Award
  • And much much more!

A little rain didn't stop these Junior GIrl
Scouts from having fun and learning
about teamwork!
