Singing songs is as much a part of
Girl Scouting as selling cookies! But what does a new troop leader
do when she doesn’t know any traditional Girl Scout songs? She
takes her troop the first annual Songfest, of course!
On Saturday, December 12th, Girl Scouts from across the Indian
Valley Service Unit gathered together to sing!
Troops traveled through a series of stations where they learned
Silly Songs, Action Songs, Girl Scout Graces, Slow Songs, Call and
Repeat Songs and traditional Girl Scout Songs.
Some of the songs the girls learned
were:

- Barges
- Linger
- On My Honor
- Brownie Smile Song
- Johnny Appleseed
- Great Big Moose
- Princess Pat
- And more!
Because of the popularity, Girl Scout Troop 71515 hopes to host
this event again next year with a new lineup of fun, beloved Girl
Scout Songs!
