Indian Valley Girl Scouts to celebrate the 97th Birthday of Girl Scouting on Saturday, March 11th at Little Zion Church in Telford for the annual Girl Scout Birthday Carnival Celebration.
Each year troops create carnival games and activities around a central theme to raise money for the Juilette Low World Friendship Fund (JLWFF). The JLWFF assists Girl Scouts and Girl Guides around the world.
This year’s theme was Girl Scouts Recycle! All of the booths, games, and activities were based on this theme. Girls had the opportunity to take part in a recycling relay, make a recycled craft and even play some games which used recycled materials, like bowling!
